Impact Thrift Stores Brand Identity & Website

Impact Thrift Stores realized their need for a brand face-lift and came to us to reinvigorate their logo and entice a new generation of buyers and high-end donors from their website.

King Design refreshed their logo to reflect Impact’s creative personality and timeless service. With a strategic eye, we held an in-house photo shoot to showcase the treasures in the stores. From visuals to copy, logo to Facebook, web design to print creative, King Design lightened and lifted the image of Impact Thrift Stores.

The goal of the rebranding strategy was to attract a young, budget conscious audience of buyers while continuing to appeal to a high-quality base of donors. Modernized fonts and colors brought Impact’s recognizable logo up to date while still remaining true to a long established history. Large, colorful photos of the variety of products in the stores stimulate interest and engagement on the site.

After starting Impact down their new-and-improved path, King Design built a custom administrative section for them to continue to feed and develop their brand. Think of it as training wheels. Training wheels for your shiny, state-of-the-art, well-oiled, newly painted bike.

To hook into the young, hip, fashion-forward on a budget crowd that Impact wanted to get into their stores, we designed and developed a custom Facebook tab and provided messaging guidance for interaction. The Facebook wall now serves as a consistently updated area to showcase the inspiration pieces, new store arrivals, and other often-updated material. This online footprint, paired with consistent brand messaging through print materials, serves to reinforce and strengthen the Impact brand on a daily basis.
